Reds Reinstate Devin Mesoraco Send Dioner Navarro To Louisville

Devin Mesoraco has cleared his head and has been given permission from the medical staff to play again.

Dioner Navarro was sent back to Triple A Lousiville a day after his first home run of the season.

Mesoraco suffered a blow to the head when Cameron Maybin collided with the Reds' catcher on a play at the plate on Monday July 30.  Later in that inning, Mesoraco was ejected for arguing balls and strikes.

Mesoraco still faces a three-game suspension for bumping umpire Chad Fairchild at Great American Ball Park last week.  Mesoracco can play pending the ruling on an appeal that he filed.

The Reds are not allowed to replace Mesoraco while he is suspended.
