The Reds centerfielder Drew Stubbs will be out with a strain in his oblique area according to Reds' manager Dusty Baker.
Stubbs was examined this afternoon and expected to miss a few days.
"We're hoping a couple days but you really have to be careful with those things," Baker said. "We can't afford to lose his defense and his speed and his bat was coming around.
Stubbs felt something while taking a swing in his last at bat in the seventh inning on Tuesday night.
