Hunter Greene made his first start since a groin injury put him on the sidelines after June 3 and pitched the Reds to a 8-0 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.

Newly acquired outfielder, Miguel Andujar hit his ninth home run of the season a grand slam to seal the Phillies fate

Greene handled the National League Eastern Division Phillies for five innings allowing two harmless singles.

Kyle Schwarber hit a two-out double in the sixth but Greene struck out Bryce Harper swinging on a 3-2 pitch.

Greene in his return pitched six scoreless innings with three hits, no walks and six strikeouts.

The Reds broke through in the fourth against Christopher Sanchez. Austin Hays drew a two-out walk and scored on a double by Noelvi Marte.

The Reds struck again in the sixth inning. Elly De La Cruz singled with one out. While De La Cruz was running, Hays rifled a double down the left field line scoring De La Cruz from first. Marte singled to score Hays. Left fielder Brandon Marsh throw was high and pitcher Sanchez throw went into left field to allow Marte to score.

Andujar's blow off Jordan Romano followed a walk to Ke'Bryan Hayes, a single by TJ Friedl and an infield single by De La Cruz.

Graham Ashcraft pitched a scoreless seventh. Scott Barlow and Sam Moll left two Phillies on base after a scoreless eighth.
