Little Dontrelle Willis Grounded For Breaking Glass

Willis Hit The Lights Just Below the Toyota Sign
On the of the hardest hit balls I've ever seen was in pitchers batting practice at 4:30 this afternoon.  Pitchers took turns hitting the offerings of Mark Berry at GABP as they do every day.

Dontrelle Willis hit line drive after line drive in his turn.  Willis hit one that brought shock and awe to observers was a line drive that hit the Power Stacks in right center field just below the "Win a Toyota Sign."

People who were busy doing other things, not only heard the crack of the bat but the shattering glass from the lighted rings that you see in the picture.  The stacks are well over 400' from home plate.  The ball had no arc and was still on the rise when it struck the object.

You're the best, Schatz. Well, second best, at the least...
