Scott Schebler and his former roommate Corey Seager are competing against each other at Great American Ball Park this weekend.
Schebler came to the Reds in the three-way trade with the White Sox that sent Todd Frazier to Chicago. The Dodgers got three players from Chicago. Schebler, Jose Perraza and Brandon Dixon from the Dodgers.

"It is fun to play against those guys and beat them for bragging rights," Schebler said. "People would ask me if I saw him being this good. I said 1,000 percent." Seager is hitting .313 with 21 home runs and 57 RBI.
Schebler is in his second stint with the Reds. He started the season on the Major League roster but was sent to Louisville on May 8 after hitting .188 in 27 games. While at Louisville, Schebler hit a cool .311 with 13 home runs and 43 RBI in 75 games. He was named International League Player of the Month in July. Schebler returned to the Reds in August after Jay Bruce was traded. Since his return, Schebler is hitting .175 with two home runs and six RBI, including a game-winning homer against St. Louis.
