Todd Redmond Sent to Louisville to Make Room for Jonathan Broxton
Reds' media relations director announced, "Broxton will be here at seven." Dusty Baker misunderstood and briefly thought that he said,"Bronson."
Bronson Arroyo is scheduled to start the third of the current four-game series against the San Diego Pardres;
After losing Brandon Phillips with a strained right calf and losing Devin Messoraco for three games, Baker was a bit paranoid even though veteran firstbaseman, Joey Votto is getting ready to come off the disabled list.
The Reds recalled RHP Todd Redmond from Louisville on Tuesday but sent him back to the Bats to free the roster spot for Jonathan Broxton. It was the third time that Redmond has been recalled without appearing in a game.
Broxton arrived from Kansas City in time for the game and will wear the number 50.
