Colerain's Ryan Atkinson Wrist Won't Keep Him From Pitching

Ryan Atkinson has a hairline fracture on his right wrist from being hit by a pitch.

The injury needed 12-14 days to heal.  The ace pitcher on the Cardinals staff has an offer from the University of Cincinnati.  He is also getting looks from professional scouts and is weighing other college offers.

He leads the GMC with 64 strikeouts during this soggy high school baseball season.

Thursday Colerain plays the winner of the Loveland - Edgewood game.  A win in that game will put them against Moeller, assuming Moeller gets past 1-14 Walnut Hills on Thursday.

Atkinson would be ready to face the Crusaders on Thursday the 19th at Lakota East High School.
