The University of Cincinnati Battles For A Wet Victory Bell With Miami

The olderst rivalry west of the Allegheny Mountains resumed in a soggy Paul Brown Stadium for the 123rd time.  The first meeting was on December 8, 1988 and has been played every year with few exceptions.

Cincinnati has won the last 12 meetings but Miami has been close in recent years.  Last season, Miami led 17-6 with three minutes to go but Cincinnati rallied for a 21-17 win with an interception return for a touchdown by Malick Clements of 14 yards.

Miami leads the series 59-56-7.
