Hoiston #6 defeated Big 12 big shot Oklahoma 35-23 in the season opener and demolished Lamar 42-0 last week.  Cincinnati struggled against UT- Martin in a 28-7 come-from-behind win, then shocked Purdue on the road, 38-20.

The Big !2 has 10 teams, four from the state of Texas, Baylor, Texas, Texas Christian and Texas Tech.

Houston would make the fifth and Cincinnati would open up an untapped TV market for the Conference.

The leaders of the Conference are planning to meet early next month to decide whether to expand or to add two teams or four teams.
