Mount St. Joe University Pitcher Throws In Goodyear For Reds

Former Mt. St. Joeseph University pitcher Collin Shaw was at the Reds camp in Goodyear at 7:30 a.m.

Shaw, who also played baseball at Lakota West High School, threw off the mound for Reds' scouts early this morning while the Reds were in a meeting.

"My velo (velocity) was a little down but it was alright," Shaw said of his experience on the Reds six-pack mound configuration.  Collin's brother, Rob, who also pitched for the Lions and Firebirds observed his brother's audition.
