Adam Dunn Takes The Mound

http://donatelifeohio.org/

Former Reds' slugger Adam Dunn became the first player to go from designated hitter to pitcher in a game.

Dunn took the mound because the Texas Rangers scored 15 runs off the White Sox pitching staff and had no more pitchers to throw into the game.

Dunn allowed one run in one inning of work but did not give up a home run.

It was another unusual role for Dunn, who appeared in the movie, "Texas Buyer's Club earlier this yeat.
