Mat Latos Will Have Another Rehab Assignment

http://donatelifeohio.org/

Under his strenuous protest Mat Latos will be sent to an undetermined sight on Monday to build his pitch count to 100.

"It is pretty bogus that I have to go on another rehab We’re going to do, barring any issues with the rest of the guys in our rotation, we’d like to get him all the way stretched out. I know he feels that he’s ready to help us and I appreciate that. We are going to ask him when he’s activated to be able to do what the rest of the guys are doing and pitch into the later innings. I’d like to get him stretched out to that 90-100 pitches, if possible, before we activate him.”assignment," Latos said.  "I don't make the decisions around here.  I am a puppet on the string, pretty much. I can tell you, I'm as healthy as I've been and I could pitch in the game today if I needed to. I could have thrown 90-100 pitches last time out but like I said, I'm a puppet on a string.  There's no point in trying to talk them out of it.  They had their minds made up. The velocity was there.  I do what they want me to do for the most part."

The team wants to be sure that Latos can pitch deep into games when he comes back.
