Bryan Price Is Stupefied Over Reds Losing

Bryan Price has a bald spot on the back of his head from scratching it trying to figure his team out.

"The dynamic of our team is we don't find a way to get back into games. With the talent we have, I'm stupefied at how rarely we come back from deficits," Price said after the Reds lost 8-0 to the hapless Philadelphia Phillies on Friday night.

Price is trying to stay positive and for the most part does but the frustration boils to the surface in the first-year manager.

"To win five of six games then look lifeless, is frustrating," Price said.  "It's not that they don't want to win. In baseball you have to take what you want because everybody wants the same thing.  We just have to fight a little harder than they do."

"We get behind and it takes our spirit away.  That can't happen," Price said.
