Ryan Ludwick Will Have Surgery
Reds' leftfielder will have surgery on Wednesday to repair torn cartilage in his right shoulder.
Ludwick injure his shoulder sliding into third base in the third inning of the Reds' 13 inning loss to the Los Angeles Angels.
He will be placed on the 15-day disabled list. The Reds are expected to call up another player on Wednesday.
Chris Heisey will get his chance to prove that he can play every day in Ludwick's absence.
