Reds Take On White Sox at Camelback Ranch

A working ranch that specialized in preparing cattle for market is now a ranch to prepare baseball players for the regular season.

The Chicago White Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers share the sprawling acreage that has become a baseball complex.

The Dodgers moved from a beautiful setting in Vero Beach, Florida after 60 years to inhabit this desert setting in 2009.

The White Sox vacated Sarasota in 1997.  The Reds took over in their absence.  The Sox worked in Tucson for 10 springs then joined the Dodgers.

The Reds' lineup:
Chris Heisey CF
Brandon Phillips 2B
Joey Votto 1B
Ryan Ludwick LF
Jay Bruce DH
Todd Frazier 3B
Miguel Olivo C
Denis Phipps RF
Cesar Izturis SS
Bronson Arroyo P

The Reds will face the White Sox Jose Quintana

This will be the first start of the spring for Arroyo.
