Yonder Alonso tweeted congratulations to Cozart for being called up. Cozart has been spotted in Cincinnati's Milwaukee hotel.
Yet Cozart, who is scheduled to play in the Futures Game on Sunday in Arizona, has not been added to the Reds roster.
Cozart played last night against the Columbus Clippers in Louisville.
He was 0-for-4 against Columbus and struck out three times. Cozart, who had a real good spring according to Dusty Baker, is hitting .310. The former Old Miss baseball star has cooled in July. He has just three hits in 20 at bats since the first of the month.
