The Dayton Flyers are living up to their name. They like to run and take the first shot they can.
They have scored over 100 points three time this season, including a 112-07 double overtime loss to Penn State.
Xavier dominated early but Dayton went on a 14-0 run that tied the game a 23.
The Flyers kept up the pace and built a brief 31-26 margin but Xavier scored the last five points of the half to knot the score at 31, leading into the break.
