Brady Singer will try to keep the momentum going for the Reds, who have won two straight after an eight game slide. Singer is 2-2 with a higher than normal, 5.63 ERA which is about one run per game higher than his normal ERA. He will face the Washington Nationals, Miles Mikolas.
Singer has not been dominant but he has kept the Reds in games. Over his last five starts, he has pitched into the sixth inning in four of them which includes two quality starts. In his last effort, Singer allowed four runs to the Chicago Cubs in six innings. He allowed six hits and a walk, while striking out six in a game the Reds lost in 10-innings.
