Reds Shuffle Roster Trying To Find A Winning Combination

The Reds reshuffled their roster again, trying to find a winning combination.

Nick Lodolo was re-instated from the 60-day injured list.  He will start against the New York Mets and their ace, Max Scherzer.

The team transfered Tony Santillan to the 60-day injured list from the 15-day list.

The team claimed RHP Ian Gibaut off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Max Schrock was optioned back to Louisville so the Reds can keep three catchers.  They have been banged up at that position.

The Reds decided to activate Tyler Naquin from the 15-day disabled list and send Mark Kolozsvary back to Louisville.  David Bell met wit Garcia to decide if his forearm was ok.  Michael Papierski will catch tonight but Garcia remains available.

The Red designated catcher Chris Okey for assignment to remove him from the 40-man roster.  He will have to clear waivers to remain in the organization.
