Bearcats Hope To Sink Navy










The 7-1 Cincinnati Bearcats take on the Midshipmen of the Naval Academy this afternoon at Nippert Stadium with the kickoff at 3:30.

The Bearcats are home for the first time in three weeks, having a buy and splitting two road games in overtime.  Cincinnati lost in OT to Temple and used an overtime interception return to defeat Southern Methodist University last Saturday.

Navy is 2-6 with only a one point win over Memphis.   The lone common opponent is Temple.  The Owls earned a 24-17 win over the future Admirals.  Notre Dame doubled up on Navy with a 44-22 win over the option minded Midshipmen.
