Billy Hamilton On Concussion DL, Anthony DeSclafani Returns

Billy Hamiliton was placed on the seven-day concussion disabled list to make room on the roster for Anthony DeSclafani, who was re-instated from the 60-day disabled list.

DeSclafani is making his first start of the season for Cincinnati against the Oakland Athletics ace, Sonny Gray.  Gray was re-instated from the 15-day DL before the game.

Hamilton was injured by a head-first slide into thirdbase on Wednesday.

He is going through a daily battery of tests to make sure the effects of the concussion have vanished before he returns to action.

The Reds have outfielders, Steve Selsky and Kyle Waldrop are with the team now and one of them will return to Louisville when Hamilton is ready.  It is likely to be Selsky, since Waldrop provides a left-handed bat.
