Aroldis Chapman Makes Fourth All-Star Team Johnny Cueto Among Five Finalists

Aroldis Chapman was added to All-Star team by Bruce Bochy, the San Francisco manager, who will manage the National League squad.

It is Chapman's fourth team.

Johnny Cueto, who pitches Tuesday night against the Washington Nationals and is scheduled to start on Sunday, can be voted to the last spot by fan vote.

Cueto will be competing with Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Jeurys Familia of the New York Mets, Carlos Martinez of the St. Louis Cardinal and Troy Tulowitzki of the Colorado Rockies.  All except Tulowitzki are pitchers.

Two All-Stars are former Reds' farmhands.

Brad Boxberger of the Tampa Bay Rays will be a right-handed pitcher on the American League roster.  Yasmani Grandal of the Los Angeles Dodgers will backup Buster Posey at catcher along with Yadier Molina.

Both players were traded by the Reds to the San Diego Padres for Mat Latos, along with Yonder Alonso and Edinson Volquez.
