Billy Hamilton will rest his sore hand and wrist.

The hero of the game Monday night, Ivan De Jesus Jr. will return to leftfield against the Philliies Tuesday night.  Brennan Boesch will replace Hamilton in centerfield, batting eighth.

"Billy is a little banged up," manager Bryan Price said. "His hand and wrist is sore. I am giving him a breather. Brennan was going to play anyway."

Boesch has been slowed by a lower back strain for the last several games.  Price wanted him to get some at bats Tuesday anyway.

"Boesch would have been in the lineup regardless," Price said.

Hamilton stole second and third sliding feet first while Brandon Phillips was at bat.  He scored when Phillips walked. Catcher Carlos Ruiz couldn't come up with a pitch in the dirt on what was later ruled ball Four. Hamilton raced home as Ruiz threw to firstbase only to find out       Phillips walked.

Boesch has six hits in 43 at bats (.140) with no home runs and one RBI.  He is 2-for-12 as a pinch hitter. Boesch hit four home runs in spring training, tying Todd Frazier wiith most home runs.
