Eastern defeated Robert Morris 38-6 in its season opener.

Junior quarterback Jared McClain ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more against Robert Morris.  Louisville is led by Heisman Trophy candidate Teddy Bridgewater, who led the Cardinals to a 49-7 win over the Ohio University Bobcats on Sunday.

One of the Colonels four wins over Bowl Subdivision teams was at the expense of the Cardinals in a 45-21 win in 1985.  Eastern led Louisville 45-7 at one point in that game.

The Cardinals hold a 17-8-1 advantage in the series with the last meeting resulting in a 23-13 Louisville win in 2010.
