Broxton Nearly Ready Marshall Not Throwing

Jonathan Broxton is pitching for Louisville in Indianapolis according to Reds' pitching coach Bryan Price.

"It is our version of back-to-back days," Price said.  Broxton threw 15 pitches in a simulated game on Saturday.   "We will give him tomorrow off (Monday) and re assess. If he comes through it ok, we could have him back Tuesday or Wednesday."

Sean Marshall is not throwing at the present time. He is experiencing soreness and will not throw until the pain is completely gone.

"Marshall was close," Price said.  "He threw a bullpen the Saturday before the All-Star break.  He has some soreness in the back of his upper arm.  He won't start throwing again until it is gone.  He isn't too far off.  Cueto is farther away."
