Chase Burns Positioned To Top Pirates

Chase Burns has an important task to stop the Pittsburgh Pirates.

His mission: stop a two game losing streak, avoid a sweep and save that bullpen.

He brings a 3-1 record and a fine 2.65 ERA into the contest. He has pitched into the sixth innings in his last five starts and once started a seventh inning, completing six three times.

It is his second start this season against the Pirates. He earned his first big league win with five scoreless innings in a 2-0 victory on March 30.
