Reds Send Andrew Abbott To Face Tyler Mahle And The San Francisco Giants.

Dateline: Goodyear, Arizona

Andrew Abbott is ready to pitch three or four innings against the San Fransisco Giants and former Reds' ace, Tyler Mahle. 

Mahle pitched for the Reds from 2017-2022. The Reds traded him to the Minnesota Twins in August, 2022 for Spencer Steer and Christian Encarnacion-Strand. Neither made the trip.
