Now That the Stanley Cup Is Decided Joey Votto and the Reds Host Votto's Hometown Toronto Blue Jays

Joey Votto grew up in Toronto.  While the Blue Jays have been a summer diversion since 1977, hockey is the big game in town.

Votto is not a hockey fan.  He did follow the World Cup when Sidney Crosby scored the winning goal but was not a huge fan growing up.

The Toronto Maple Leafs last won the Stanley Cup in 1966-67.  At least the Blue Jays have two World Series crowns in 1992 and 1993.

The Reds and Votto host the Blue Jays on Friday beginning 15 straight games against American League opponents.  Toronto comes to Cincinnati this weekend, the New York Yankees are in Cincinnati Monday night, Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon.  The Reds go to Baltimore to play in Camden Yards for the first time ever.  The last time a Reds team was even in Baltimore was the 1970 World Series.

After a weekend in Baltimore, the Reds head to Tampa to play the Rays.  They return home for a weekend against Cleveland.
