Devin Mesoroco told reporters that he has a slight hamstring pull sustained in the last game of the Colorado series on Sunday.

"It has been like that for a few days.  I was trying not to use him under any circumstances," Dusty Baker said on Thursday afternoon.  "Then when he went in there we told him to bunt.  It is a situation we wouldn't normally have him bunting.  He couldn't run and we wanted to stay out of the double play.  He is prone to the double play.  He hits a lot of balls hard ant on the ground to the left side."

Mesoroaco followed Zack Cozart in the 14th inning   His bunt was turned into a force play.  Jack Hannahan hit into a double play to end the inning.

"Bunting is part of winning," Baker said.  "I talked to him today about working on it.  Even with the Dodgers when we had four guys with 30 home runs.  We still had to bunt."
