The Reds chose lefthanded hitting outfielder, Jesse Winker of Olympia High School in Orlando, Florida with the 49th pick for compensation for losing Francisco Cordero to free agency.
Winker is 6'3" and weighs 200 lbs. He had a scholarship offer from the University of Florida.
