Grffey Shakes Hands With Florida State's Kenny Shaw

Griffey caught a school record 72 passes for a record 970 yards.  He also shattered the single game record with 13 catches breaking the record of nine set by Kenny Shaw in 2009. Shaw is now playing at Florida State.

Griffey became a legitimate Division I football recruit by having his best season this fall. Griffey has offers from FAU, Iowa State, Middle Tennessee State, Michigan State, Washington State, Ball State, Buffalo and Florida International University.

Griffey's sister, Taryn, a sophomore, returns as a starter on the defending state champions.  The Panthers are ranked 5th by USA Today.
