Rain Beats Baseball In Unanimous Decision

   https://gofund.me/b67c71781

Dateline: Cincinnati

Rain in the Cincinnati conquered baseball all over town

The Big East tournament had two games on its agenda. The game between the St. John’s University Red Storm and the hometown Xavier University Musketeers were to meet at the wee hours of the morning. The plan was to beat the rain with a 9 am start. The called it early.

The loser of this game was scheduled to play against Creighton University in an elimination game later.

The Reds schedule had a 6:40 meeting scheduled with the St. Louis Cardinals but that was banged at 2 pm,

The teams will play two games on Saturday with separate admissions. The first at 1:10 pm. The regularly scheduled game will be played at 7:15 as planned.

Fans holding tickets for tonight’s game may present their same ticket for the make-up game scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 1:10 pm, with no exchange necessary.

Gates will open for the make-up game for Season Ticket Members at 11:40 am and the general public at 12:10 pm.

The timing of the originally scheduled game for Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 7:15 pm remains unchanged. Gates will open for that game for Season Ticket Members at 5:15 pm and the general public at 5:45 pm.
