Eugenio Suarez Returns Ke’Bryan Hayes On Injured List

The Reds placed Gold Glove third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes on the 10-day injured list retroactive to May 21.

Hayes is suffering from a bulging disc in the lumbar area of his lower back,

Eugenio Suarez is activated from the 10-day injured list, healed from a strained left oblique.

 He was placed on the injured list on April 25, last playing on April 23. He has missed 25 games. The Reds were 9-16 in those games.

Suarez was hitting .231 with three doubles, three home runs with 11 RBI in 25 games. 

Hayes played in 44 games, hitting .142 with two doubles, a triple, two home runs and five RBI.
